Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi finally launched its latest Android phone Xiaomi A2 in India today by Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain. The key features of the new phone includes AI cameras, design and performance with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Xiaomi A2 was first unveiled in Spain last month but in India, it is launched today. It is available in three variants. The first variant is the basic model with 32GB + 4GB RAM and will cost you around Rs 20,000 while the second variant is the mid-variant with 128GB + 6GB RAM pricing at approx. Rs 22,500.
The last variant includes the top variant costing at Rs 28,100 approximately. The new Xiaomi A2 is powered by snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 5comesPU.
As far as camera features are concerned, the dual camera includes the combination of 20-megapixel primary sensor with 12-megapixel secondary sensor. The additional feature in the camera includes AI backed automatic scene selection.
With the powerhouse of 3010mAh battery, Xiaomi A2 is embedded with Quickcharge 3.0 connectivity options. It is also featured with face unlock functionality and fingerprint sensor on the back.
The technology change of the launching of Android 9 Pie will also be soon updated later this year on Xiaomi A2.
The orders booked started from 12 pm on Amazon.in and Mi.com and the first sale will be started from August 16. The Jio customers will get an additional offers of 4.5TB data with Rs 2,200 instant cashback.
