“why should we shame them, call them thieves?”, said PM Modi to industrialists

PM Modi on Sunday hits back to all allegations imposed by the opposition of being biased towards the industrialists by calling them ‘Suit-boot ki sarkaar’. Highlighting the role of industrialists who “plays and important role in developing country”, PM Modi said, “why should we shame them, call them thieves”.

PM Narendra Modi launched 81 investment projects in Lucknow worth of Rs 60,000 crore in the presence of leading industrialists including Subash Chandra, chairman of Essel group, Sanjeev Puri, MD, ITC, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Aditya Birla group and Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani group.

PM said that, “Agar Hindustan ko banana mein ek kisan ki mehnat kaam karti hai, ek karigar ki mehnat kaam karti hai, ek banker, financier ki mehnat kaam karti hai, ek Sarkar ke mulazim ki mehnat kaam karti hai, ek mazdoor ki mehnat kaam karti hai, waise desh ke udyogkaron ki bhi desh ko banana mein Bhumika hai (In financer, a government employee, a labourer, all has a role, similarly industrialists too have a role)”.

He further added, “Hum unko apmaanit karenge, chor-lutere kahenge…yeh kaunsa tareeka hai (We humiliate industrialists, call them thieves, robbers…..how is that right)”.

The opposition parties have been continuously accusing the ruling government to have links with the industrialists thereby neglecting the farmers and underprivileged.

Appreciating the CM Yogi Adityanath’s work in just five months, PM Modi said, “The government has done such a large-scale investment in just five months’ time with a holistic vision and with inclusive action for overall balanced development of the state. Under Adityanath, even crime had come down in the state”.

Breaking down all the accusation of frequent visits of the state as this was the sixth visit to UP in a month and second to the Lucknow, PM Modi said that it was his way to giving back the love to 22 crore people of the state as he is also as one of the representative in Parliament and the development news gives him joy.
