Why Royal Enfield 500 Pegasus is available with only 250 units?

The eminent motorcycle maker Royal Enfield will start its limited booking for the new version of Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus today and the on-road price of the new bike is Rs 2.4 lakh but it will be available with just 250 units for India while 1000 units are available globally.

The main reason for the limited edition of Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus is the result of the inspiration it draws from the Flying Flea bikes used during the World War II by the British army which makes it exclusive from others. The new Royal Enfield comes with the aesthetic changes in the RE/WD 125 bikes served at the that time.

Online booking for the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus will be started from 2pm on Royal Enfield’s official website. For the motorbike lover, it will be an incomparable edition.

As far as engine is concerned, the new version of Royal Enfield comes with single cylinder 4 stroke with Air cooled 499 cc power. The front suspension comes with telescopic, 35mm forks and 130mm travel while the rear suspension has twin gas charged with shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload.

The fuel capacity of Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus is 13.5 litres and its kerb weight are at around 194kg.
