One of the most anticipated movie, ‘Manikarnika’ showcasing the bravest Jhansi ki Rani fight against the East India Company has been finally out on Tuesday. While the centre of attraction Kangana Ranaut is well deserving for her role as Rani in the trailer, there are many other reasons to make the movie as the most awaited one.
The trailer started with the heavy, subtle voice of none other than Mr. Amitabh Bachchan whose impactful tone sets an atmosphere of war place followed by his introduction to the warrior Manikarnika who stood up for the freedom of country from the East India Company.
The movie Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi have already been engulfed in many controversies in the past but passing them all, the makers of Bahubali and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag are all set to entertain the audience now.
The making of the Manikarnika is marked by quitting of stars in a row. Firstly, Sonu Sood playing the role of Maratha Army commander-in-Chief Sadhashivrao Bhau leaves the film by saying that he could not work with the incompetent director. later on, Swati Semawal playing Bhau’s wife quits by saying that her role was not significant in the movie.
Another controversy arises when Zee Studios’ head Sujay kutty was criticized for increasing the budget of the movie from 60 crore to 125 crore. The grand set of the kingdom is somewhere can be linked to the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies along with the lavish costumes of the characters in Manikarnika.
Kangana Ranaut is well suited for the role of sacrifice epitome fighting for the freedom of India from the foreigners. Her action moves is no less than any previous male warrior character played in the Indian epic action movies.

The movie is directed by national award winning director Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and produced by Zee studios. Manikarnika will be released on January 25 next year.
Despite Kangana Ranaut, other actors in Manikarnika includes Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongappa, Zeeshan Ayub and Atul Kulkarni.
