After much ups and down, both the most awaited movie, Kaala and the Jurassic World: fallen kingdom finally lands up to the same date of release thus giving question for the audience to choose between both of them. while huge success of movies like Avengers in the south states opens up gates for the Jurassic Park, Rajinikanth’s popularity can’t be ignored too.
Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is first movie release after his announcement in the political career thus making it a big guess whether the popularity of the legend is still intact or shifted by the non-political fan base.
Rajinikanth political career is still not clear as his yet to be named political party sit back at several major political events thus creating confusion among the people to know what they want and Rajinikanth doesn’t seems to be in a hurry as after the release of Kaala, another big project 2.0 is ready to be presented before the audience and later on, he is all set to shoot for the new project with the Karthik Subbaraj’s son.
Besides this, the hike in the prices of the movie tickets due to the implementation of GST make it a second thought to watch the movie in the theatre for the masses. However, the producer of Kaala claims that the film has been sold at high prices in three areas till and it would further be sold on the commission basis.
The legacy of the Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic World released in 2015 has a good collection history in the box-office as it is one of the high rated movies with the collection of Rs 147 crore earlier.
The theatres in Tamil Nadu still choses more numbers of the screens for the release of Kaala (500 to 550) in comparison to Jurassic World (150 to 200). But the real trouble would arise if Kaala would live up to the expectations as predicted on June 7.
