The hot war between the opposition Congress and Ruling Modi Government does not yet seems to be silent soon especially on Rafale Deal controversy and this time Congress president Rahul Gandhi moves a way ahead by releasing a video of a French media portal with a highlighted line saying, “The sad truth about India’s commander in thief”.
The video shared by Rahul Gandhi quoted the former French President Francois Hollande who says that it was Indian Government that proposed Reliance Defence to collaborate with Dassault Aviation for the Rafale deal.
Hollande further added, “We did not have a word to say about that subject. The Indian government suggested this service provider and Dassault negotiated with Ambani. We did not have a choice. We picked the interlocutor which was selected for us by the Indian government. That’s the contract”.
The final word of the Hollande is “we did not have a choice”.

Modi government had earlier giving clarification on Rafale deal said that they did not have any say in the commercial decision but Hollande said that this is not true.
Launching back to back allegation on the Modi government on Rafale deal, Congress has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for lying on Rafale deal issue.
