The first trailer of John Abraham’s ‘Parmanu- The story of Pokhran’ will release today

On the 20th anniversary of India’s nuclear test explosion at Pokhran today, the first trailer of John Abraham starrer movie ‘Parmanu- The story of Pokhran’ will be released. The movie is made under the joint banner of JA Entertainment, Zee Studios and KriArj Entertainment and the releasing date is postponed after an issue between them.

The movie will release on May 25 as per the released statement by John Abraham’s banner JA Entertainment which also says that, “There is no other producer associated with this project. The film will be distributed in India by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment and will be distributed overseas by Zee Studios”.

It further added, “We are extremely thankful to the Hon’ble Bombay High Court for the speedy resolution of various issues at hand thus paving the way for our film’s release. We would like to make no further comment and focus all our energies on the release of the film now”.

The release date was delayed multiple time. Earlier, it got delayed in December 2017 to avoid the clash with ‘Padmaavat’ and later on thrice by the dispute between the JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment.

The movie also featured Diana Penty and Boman Irani and directed by Abhishek Sharma.

The movie pays tribute to the Indian Army and scientists who had given their extraordinary efforts for the nuclear test explosion at Pokhran by truly embracing the slogan- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan.
