India successfully launches communication satellite GSAT-31

On Wednesday,  India’s latest communication satellite GSAT-31 was successfully launched from French Guiana this morning, making it the third successful mission by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) this year. The GSAT-31 is a “high power” communication satellite with Ku-band. The weight of GSAT-31 is 2535 kg. On  Monday, the UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid has approved the liquor baron Vijay Mallya’s extradition to India.
