IndiGo cancels around 130 flights for Friday

India’s biggest airline IndiGo continues fight cancellation on Friday. According to a report, the Gurugram-based airline has cancelled around 130 frights on Friday as the shortage of pilots along with NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) at some airports continue. According to the source, the cancelation of flights accounts for almost 10% of the airline’s operations. Worth mentioning here is that IndiGo operates over 1,300 flights per day with a fleet of 210 planes. Rajasthan govt introduces 5% quota bill for Gujjars, four other communities

On Wednesday, the government of Rajasthan has introduced the amendment bill in the Assembly to provide a five per cent quota in jobs and educational institutes to Gujjars and four other communities agitating for it. The passed reservation bill seeks to increase the backward classes’ reservation from the present 21 per cent to 26 per cent with five per cent reservation to Gujjars, Banjaras, Gadia Lohars, Raikas and Gadaria. New Delhi hotel fire: 17 people killed and 2 jumped to death

On  Tuesday early in the morning, at least 17 people were killed as a massive fire broke out at Hotel Arpit Palace in Karol Bagh in the New Delhi.
