The smartphone maker Realme has set to launch its new phone Realme 3.
The new smart phone is teased to sport a dual rear camera setup. The Realme 3 will succeed last year’s highly successful Realme 2 and is rumoured to bring an updated design language and hardware. The company has already confirmed that the Realme 3 will be powered by an Helio P70 chipset.
Chief Executive Officer of Realme Madhav Sheth revealed in a tweet recently that the Realme 3 will get the same processor as the Realme U1. The Helio P70 SoC is a 2.3GHz octa-core processor that Realme claims offers a 40 per cent lower power consumption, 30 per cent fast download speeds and 3 per cent better multi-core CPU performance compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
The smartphone maker Realme is also hinting at a new design for the Realme 3 by posting teasers of stars, suggesting a stardust-like pattern on the back. The company may also bring back the diamond-cut design that was offered with the Realme 1 and Realme 2 last year.
The smartphone will have two processor variants. While the India model is likely to have a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, its global variant is rumored to have an Helio P60 chipset. The phone is also speculated to have a 16:9 aspect ratio and Bluetooth v 4.2 support.
The Realme 3 will likely to launch as an online and offline product. The smartphone Realme has been slowly expanding its offline reach by partnering with Reliance. The company is also planning to launch its own exclusive experience stores in the country in the second half of 2019.
The smartphone is 24-megapixel+16-megapixel dual cameras along with 4 K recording at 30 fps, which means that the Realme 3 could only support dual rear camera setup with a maximum of 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to be priced under the Rs. 20,000-mark for the top variant.
