One of the most anticipated movie of this year Rajinikanth’s kaala will finally release on June 7 after a delay of 48 days conflict between Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council and Digital Service Providers. Actor and producer of the movie Dhanush officially announced the release date on twitter.

The movie was expected earlier to release on April 27, but the plans changed after Tamil industry went on strike on March 1. As the strike is over, the film will hit the theatre on June 7.
Rajinikanth’s Kaala star cast includes other actors like Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Eswari Rao, Anjali Patil and Samuthirakani. With this movie, the veteran actor Nana Patekar will give a comeback in the Tamil Film Industry after a decade.
Speaking about the Rajinikanth’s character in the film, he is playing the role of slum lord who later on turned into a gangster. The movie is inspired by the livelihood of a society Dharavi slum basically located in Mumbai.
Passing and completing the final formalities of the censor board, Rajinikanth’s kaala has been awarded with U/A certification and according to the sources, around 14 cuts were censored in the movie.
Kaala is made under the banner of Lyca Production house having Santosh Narayan as the music director. The editor of the movie is A Sreekar Prasad and the cinematographer is Murali G.
The superhit partnership of Director Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth will again be seen in this movie. Earlier, they both were seen in the 2016 released movie kabali.
