On the occasion of the National Panchayati Raj Day today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mandla, Madhya Pradesh and will launch the Rashtriya Gramin Sawaraj Abhiyan. Along with the launching of scheme, he will address the Panchayati Raj representatives across the country and will also unveil the road map for the overall development of tribal in the coming five years.
The Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of LPG bottling plant of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) at Maneri, Mandla district. A local Government directory will also be launch by PM and then he will also take part in the Aadi Mahotsav event which will showcase the rich heritage of Tribals in the region.
To keep up the commitment with the government’s scheme towards clean, healthy and electrified India, Modi will applaud the sarpanches of all the villages who have achieved 100 percent smokeless kitchens, vaccination under Mission Indradhanush and electrification under Saubahgya scheme.
Pm Modi will felicitate the winners of Rashtriya e-Panchayat Puraskar and Gram Panchayat Vikas Puraskar Yojna on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day. After which, he will address the District Collectors of the Aspirational Districts from Madhya Pradesh.
Modi will fly back to Jabalpur at around 3 pm encircled with tight security arrangements.
