with the one-millionth sale of the car by the Ford to a New Delhi resident Nikhil Kakkar, Ford India is celebrating the achievement of one million sales milestone across the nation. During the celebration ceremony, Ford India’s president and Managing director Anurag Mehrotra handed the keys to Nikhil.
Mehrotra said, “We are proud and excited to reach the one million customers in India and remain indebted to our customers for their faith and trust”.
He further added, “The focus on India stood on four strategic pillars- strong brand, right products, competitive cost and effective scale. This would ensure that they would grow faster than the industry and bring more customers to the ford brand”.
Started its presence in India in 1998, Ford India has successfully launched Endeavour, Figo, EcoSport, Ikon and Fiesta portfolio products.
Till today, ford India has invested more than 2 Billion USD in the country and presently, the company has more than 465 sales and service outlets in 267 cities across the nation.
Recently, Ford has started an initiative which enables the customers to calculate their vehicles’ periodic maintenance costs before booking any services with the dealership.
To maintain the trust and quality among the customers, Ford India started selling 3,500 touchpoints across India. Among the 3,500 points, 2000 of those includes independent repair shops.
