Finnish Company HMD Global that makes Nokia smartphone launched Nokia 7.1 today in India. Last month it was launched in an event in London on October 4th with two configurations which were 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage. In India, the phone will be available from December 7 on the company’s web shop and on offline retailers. The colour of the phone will be in gloss midnight blue and gloss steel colours. 4GB/64GB version of the Nokia 7.1 will be priced at Rs 19,999 with a 5.84 inch HDR ready display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a qualcom Snapdragon 636 chipset and fuelled by a 3060mAh battery. This Nokia 7.1 smartphone is a first smartphone with ‘Pure Display’ screen display technology. This Nokia 7.1 offers real-time SDR to HDR conversion, that means people can experience HDR quality entertainment, even when the content is not available in HDR. The Nokia 7.1 also features Zeiss camera optics with 12 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera with auto focus and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The device has dual-anodized aluminium diamond-cut colored edges. Being an Android One phone, the Nokia 7.1 will receive three years of monthly security patches. The smartphone has recently been upgraded to Android 9 Pie OS, thus, bringing new features, including “App Actions” which is exclusive to Android One devices and Google Pixel phones. The Nokia 7.1 will come with an offer for Airtel prepaid customers where they can enjoy 1 TB of 4G data on eligible plans starting at Rs 199 and also Airtel post-paid customers can get an additional data of 120 GB along with three months of Netflix subscription and one year of Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting from Rs 499. Consumers who will purchase Nokia 7.1 using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards on EMI transactions are mentioned to receive a 10 per cent cashback.
