The smartphone company Nokia has launched Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 1 Plus, and Nokia 210 at its event in Barcelona, Spain. Nokia has announced that it has tripled its smartphone users in 2018.
According to HMD Global Nokia is now the world’s largest feature phone manufacturer.
The Nokia 210 was the first phone HMD Global launched at MWC 2019 and it’s an affordable 2.5G feature phone according to the company. Then Nokia announced the launch of the Nokia 1 Plus. The company launched the Nokia 4.2 and the Nokia 3.2 budget Android phones next at its MWC event. Finally, the Nokia 9 PureView with five Zeiss lenses was launched at HMD Global’s MWC 2019 event.
Nokia 9 PureView specifications
The Nokia 9 PureView has five rear cameras. The smartphone claims high tor dynamic range and higher depth of field control than most other phones. The smartphone is made of a single block of Series 6000 aluminium. It has Gorilla Glass 5 on the screen. The phone is 8mm thick, it has IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating, and it supports wireless charging.
The Nokia 9 PureView has a fingerprint sensor under the display and it supports face unlock as well. The smartphone consists of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC. The phone also sports a 5.99-inch Quad-HD+ (1440×2960 pixels) POLED screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 9 has 3,320mAh battery with wireless charging support. Additionally, the company has included connectivity options like Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The Nokia PureView is also IP67 certified for water and dust resistance and packs a USB Type-C port. There is no 3.5mm audio jack though.

According to HMD Global, the phone will carry a price tag of $699 (roughly Rs. 49,700) and it will be available for pre-orders immediately in select markets around the world. The sales open in March 2019. The company notes that the Nokia 9 PureView will be offered in the sole Midnight Blue colour.
