Nawazuddin Siddiqui finally breaks silence on Sacred Games controversy

For the last few days, the most famous actor of Sacred Games, Ganesh Eknath Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is encircled between the controversies from CDR racket case to his biography. It looks like he will not be able to get the relief soon but now the actor stood up against all those allegations and said that it was falsely created to him as actors are the soft target of everyone.

Netfilx series Sacred Games is under the scanner of Delhi High Court when a congress worker Nikhil Bhalla filed a petition claiming that the dialogue in the series has tried to defame the image of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Bhalla said that certain dialogues in Sacred Games said by Nawazuddin Siddiqui like ‘fattu’ was used against former PM Rajiv Gandhi and besides that some sensitive cases like Babri Masjid, Shah Bano and Bofors case were fabricated differently which will not be tolerated.

However the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he was just playing the part of his role by saying those dialogues and he has much respect for the former PM.

He further added that the actors are the soft targets and controversies of using the inappropriate words in the series was falsely created on him. Being personally affected by the controversies, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he is not a computer and all this affected his personal life too.

Proceeding with the petition filed against Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the Delhi High Court said to change the controversial words by adding further that no actors could be hold liable for their dialogues.

The Sacred Games season 1 is inspired by the Vikram Chandra’s book. It is based on a gangster (Ganesh Eknath Gaitonde) and a cop (Sartaj Singh) drama running around each other.

However, the audience will soon be able to see the next series of sacred Games season 2 as actor Saif Ali khan said that the shooting will be started from September this year.
