Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play launch today: Price, specifications, offers and more

After the global unveiling of the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Paly, the two handsets are launched today at an event in New Delhi. The Lenovo-owned company Motorola has announced the price, specifications and offer respectively, for both Moto G6 and Motorola G6 Play.

Moto G6 is a dual-SIM phone which runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with 5.7-inch full-HD display. It is available in two storage variant- 3GB and 4GB RAM with expandable microSD card. Moto G6 bears a dual rear camera including 12-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The colour options for this smartphone are fine gold and indigo black.

As far as price is concerned, Moto G6 starts at Rs 13,999 for 3GB RAM variant, while Rs 15,666 for the 4GB storage capacity. The smartphone will give a direct competition for newly launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. It is powered with 3000mAh battery with a TurboPower charger in the box.

The Extra benefit of Rs 1,000 flat on Moto G6 is applicable if the purchase is done with ICICI credit and debit cards only in Flipkart, extra Rs 1,500 on exchange while 25% discount with the Jio Rs 198 plan. An assured amount of Rs 5,100 buyback offer is also available while those who will purchase Moto G6 using Paytm Mall QR code at Moto Hub store with Rs 1,200 cashback offer.

Moto G6 Play runs on the Android version of 8.0 with 5.7-inch HD + Max Vision IPS display. It has a single rear camera with 13-megapixel sensor and on the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor coupled with 80-degree wide angle lens. Moto G6 Play comes with 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with expandable microSD card. It is powered with 4000mAh battery with a TurboPower charger in the box.
