To everyone’s surprise, another accusation in the list of MeToo movement added up but this time it is the hardest thing to believe in as famously known by the name of sanskari babu, Alok Nath was accused with rape blot by the Filmmaker Vinta Nanda.
The writer/ producer of Show ‘Tara’, Vinta Nanda did not mention his name directly but pointed out as ‘Sanskaari’ thus making everyone to believe that it was Alok Nath.
The actress said that the incident was about 20 years old when Alok Nath was known to be alcoholic and interested in the lead actress. His misbehave towards the women also leads him to leave the show but unfortunately as soon as the management was changed, Alok Nath was called back to the show again.
She wrote while bringing back him in the sow again, “There was no room left for protest under so much oppression that we had by now been subjected to. We had four more shows running on the same channel, all big on ratings and our refusal to do as we are being told to do meant jeopardising them”.
Remembering the horrific incident of the past, Vinta Nanda said while dropping her to the home from a party and she was drunk too, Alok Nath took the advantage of the situation and not only raped her but also brutalized her.
She said, “When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain. I hadn’t just been raped, I was taken to my house and had been brutalized. I couldn’t get up for my bed”.
Later on, when she decided to speak about it openly, Vinta was threatened by the Alok Nath. As she needed work and money, she had to meet him again followed by which she had been assaulted again and again.
When asked about why it took 20 years to speak up, she tells that, “Finally, I gave up. Almost 20 years later, I’m totally fine now, healed and reunited with my own self again. The only reason I’m telling this story now is because I don’t want that any girl should ever fear holding the truth back”.
As soon the news becomes viral, the social media is flooded with the support of the actress and is calling for the arrest of Alok Nath.
