The Wednesday evening turned out to be a dramatic event when the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik dissolved the assembly followed by the efforts made by the leader of PDP leader, Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference leader led by Omar Abdullah.
Satya Pal Malik suspended the assembly after the proposal was made by the Ex-PM with the rivals and People’s Conference backed by BJP in the parliament as it thinks that the move will create instability in the state. Malik said that he did not see any evidence of numbers from either side and the further decision to form the government will be taken in mid-December.
The coalition government proposed to be formed in Jammu and Kashmir was taken as bringing rival political condition by the center and Parties like PDP and NC would be in a mainstream politics as they are representing the political face in the state.
The decision to dissolve the assembly was made immediately after Union Minister Rajnath Singh landed in Delhi at 7 pm after election tour in Madhya Pradesh and talked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the call.
One of the reasons cited by the Governor Satya Pal Malik was the “impossibility of forming a stable government by the coming together of political parties with opposing political ideologies”.
