Lok Sabha adjourned for the day followed by the stormy arguments

The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day immediately after a recess as the opposition started shouting against the ruling Government. Both the parties, BJP and Congress were on the different tracks while debating the parliament.

BJP was ready to address “reports of corrupt practices indulged in by relatives of former ministers under Tacit protection by ministers” while the congress is preparing to confront the government targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Nirav Modi case and alleging that how the man can have fled to the country under his watch.

The Budget session started on January 29 and will end on April 9 though it was adjourned for 23 days recess on February 9.

In the beginning of the session, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley showcase the Budget for the year by Highlighting the world’s largest government funded healthcare scheme which will cover 10 crore poor family.

The parliament session again started promptly after the big win of BJP in all the three North-Eastern states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland. In Tripura, the party break the history after 25 years by winning the election.

On Monday during the Budget session both the parties started accusing each other. Union minister Piyush Goyal said the country’s biggest PNB scam is connected to the congress.

He said, “The problem started during their time. They cannot mislead the nation on this issue”.

Hitting back the congress leader Anand Sharma said, “we will demand answers from the government on the bank fraud scam. We will also demand answers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the scam happened right under his watch”.

The BJP government is ready to present the ‘Fugitive Economic Offender Bill’ which will punish those who committed financial crimes and then fled the country like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya.

Modi government attacked Congress through Karti Chidambaram’s arrest in INX Media case during his father P Chidambaram Congress-led UPA government.
