The last date for the application of Railway Recruitment post of 89409 vacancies which is for the Group C Level I including track maintainer, points man, helper, gateman and porter and Group C Level II for loco pilots, technicians including fitter, crane driver, blacksmith and carpenter is March 31, 2018.
Around 25 million candidates have been applied so far for all 89409 posts. These post has been advertised after four years.
The duration of the Computer Based Test(CBT) will be conducted in two stages. The first stage of the exam will be of 60 minutes. It contains 75 questions which includes subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Awareness and General science.
The second stage of examination will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is divided into two parts. Part A contains questions from General Intelligence, Mathematics and reasoning, General Awareness and Basic Science and Engineering. The duration time for the Part A is 90 minutes.
For the Part B, the allotted time is 60 minutes. It will include trade syllabus by Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).

CBT test will also be there for Group C Level I post which will be followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be of 90 minutes including 100 questions of subjects like Mathematics, General science, General Intelligence and reasoning and General Awareness.
