The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) has declared the class 10th or Kerala secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results on Thursday on 3rd May. The result includes SSLC (regular), SSLC (private students) and THSLC (private).
Kerala education minister C Raveendranath announced the result at a press conference in Thiruvanthapuram. As per the reports, about 97.84% students have qualified in the exams which is better than the last year’s result of 95.98%.
Out of 4,41,103 students who appeared in the SSLC examination, 4,31,162 have been qualified for the higher studies. The result is easily available on the official website of Kerala Board of Public Examinations- http://kbpe.org.
According to the reports, Ernakulam districts have secured first position with 99.12% passed students while Wayanad district is standing at the last having 93.87% victory. However, those who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation and scrutiny of answer paper from May 5 to May 10, 2018.
Minister Raveendranath confirmed the increase number of seats available for the higher education from this year.
He said, “There is a significant increase in the number of schools where all students become eligible for higher studies”.
