The security agencies have arrested an ISI spy for the allegations of leaking the sensitive information of BrahMos Missile from Maharashtra’s Nagpur. The secret agent was arrested after the joint operation carried out by Anti-terrorist squad of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
ISI Spy identified as Nishant Agarwal belongs from Uttarakhand and currently working as a system engineer in Defence Research and Development Organisation who is responsible for making Brahmos Missile fuel.
The anti-terrorist squad has been searching the ISI spy for a long time but started their speedy trial from Saturday. They arrested Nishant on the accusation of leaking important information to the Pakistan agency ISI and still investigating if he is in connection with other spy agencies as well.
At the primary investigation, it was found that ISI Spy has been leaking the information for the exchange of money as his laptop and mobile phone have been seized by the security agencies.
To extract more information into the matter, The Central Intelligence Bureau will join the ongoing investigation in the future. He was arrested under the charge of Official Secrets Act.

The probe against Nishant was done under high secrecy as they were not confirmed if who is the real culprit. Nishant is working for the past four years has also been awarded Young scientist Award last year.
The arrest of the ISI spy came in the row of other arrest done by the security agencies as earlier a BSF Jawan from Noida was arrested by ATS for sharing critical information to the ISI, a Madhya Pradesh resident was trapped under an operation for sharing the details of the police academy and a similar arrest like Nishant has been done in Uttarakhand last year.
BrahMos Aerospace which has jointly been setup between India and Russia has its base in Nagpur.
