Major Indian states including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai could soon face the deadly heat waves soon in future as per the new Global Warming Report. This could happen if the world’s temperature increased by 2 degrees.
The Global Warming Report is released by The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is run by the United States. All the facts and figures mentioned in the report will be discussed later on December this year.
China is in the top of Global warming Report when it comes in emitting CO2 emissions from the fuel combustion as it emits out 9040 million metric tonnes CO2 followed by USA with the CO2 emission of 4997.5 million metric tonnes and then comes India with the figure of 2066 million metric tonnes.
In the last 150 years, the temperature is rising in the major Indian states like in Delhi, it goes by 1C, Chennai by 0.6C, Kolkata by 1.2C and Mumbai by 0.7C. The Global warming report further warns of the effects of global warming which led to the temperature rise by 1.5 degree Celsius.
The people will have to face the extreme weather conditions of heat, rainfall, cold and drought if the differences are limited to only 1.5C to 2C and it would further increase the poverty.
