India aims to be among world’s top 3 economies in next 15 years :P M

During PM Narendra Modi’s visit on Thursday in Seoul, he said that India is on the way to becoming a USD 5 trillion economy soon and hoped that the country would be among world’s top three economies in the next 15 years.

While addressing the Indian audiences in Seoul, the prime minister recounted several steps were taken by his government in recent years, including several new initiatives, to take India on a forward trajectory.

Prime Minister Modi said that India is among the fastest growing economy “our aim is to be among the world’s top three economies in the next 15 years. 

Prime Minister said the official that  India has jumped to 77th spot on the World Bank’s ease of doing business ranking on the back of reforms and is determined to enter in the top 50 next year.

“It is our endeavor that India finds a place in the top three economies of the world in a one-and-a-half decade,”  said the Prime Minister.

India is striving to improve its rankings in the ease of doing business and ease of living index, he added in his statement.

Today, almost every Indian has a bank account. In 1,000 days more than 33 crore bank accounts were opened. Now, this account has over $12 billion said, Narendra Modi.

When Prime Minister Modi was giving the speech in Seoul he said: “I request every Indian living in Korea to at least encourage five non-Indian families to visit India once in a year.” 

Prime Minister Modi arrived here earlier in the day on a two-day state visit. where he will hold bilateral talks with South Korean President Moon on Friday. The two leaders are also expected to discuss the issue of denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula, ahead of the Trump-Kim summit.

In his two days visit, PM Modi will be honored with the Seoul  Peace on Friday. He said that the prize is not his and he will “only be receiving it on behalf of 130 crore Indians.
