Royal Enfield has finally launched the most awaited ABS variant of Royal Enfield Classic 500 suited for the Himalayan terrain.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 500 comes at the pricing of Rs 1.97 Lakh. Earlier, the Indian Government has directed all the motorcycle makers to induct ABS system for the bikes above the 125 cc from April 2019.
The decision forced the Motorcycle makers to modify their non-ABS models into the ABS system before the deadline. For this, the already sold Royal Enfield have to be equipped with dual-channel ABS standard also.
Royal Enfield Classic 500 is powered with the same previous engine of 411cc air cooled single cylinder that will emit out the power of 24.5 bhp and 32 Nm of torque.
The highlighted feature of Royal Enfield Classic 500 is its 5 speed gearbox. The two potions available in it is desert storm and stealth black. The desert storm comes with the brown finishing while the stealth black body is covered with all-black theme.
The older Royal Enfield Classic 500 is Rs 11,000 cheaper than the new version. Recently, on last week Royal Enfield has launched the first ABS equipped of the classic 350 cc version priced at Rs 1.62 lakh.
