Students will have to face the double trouble of the re-exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) followed by the complains from the parents and the students related to the paper leak.
Re-examination will be conducted for the Class 12 Economic subject and class 10 mathematics subject though the confirmed dates of the exam are not yet disclosed.
According to the sources, a hand-written class 12th Economic question paper have already been circulated a day before to the exam and when the teachers reviewed the question paper on the exam day, they were stunned to find the actual paper was same as the circulated paper.
CBSE notified on its official website regarding the re-examination of both the subjects. It says, “With the view to uphold the sanctity of the Board Examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the Board has decided to reconduct the examinations in the following subjects. Dates for fresh examinations and the other details shall be hosted on the CBSE website within a week”.
However, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have also received complaints regarding the loopholes of the class 12 Accountancy Paper.
He said, “Received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with the CBSE”.
Answering to all the allegations against CBSE Board exams, the board said that all the seals of the packed question papers have been found intact at the exam centres.
In an official statement, the board said, “There has been no leakage of the question paper. During the process of examination, however at local level, some miscreants tried to play mischief by circulating messages through WhatsApp and other social media to disturb the sanctity of examinations”.
