Despite the loss, Delhi daredevil’s Rishabh Pant shines brightly against Sunrise Hyderabad

On Thursday, Sunrise Hyderabad beat Delhi daredevil by 9 wickets thus making Delhi team to an early exit from this IPL season.

Although, Delhi Daredevil lose the match, but an emerging star Rishabh Pant have nailed it with his 360-degree batting style against the challenging bowling attacks of the opponents in the Firoz Shah Kotla stadium, Delhi.

An unbeaten 128 runs in just 63 balls is indeed a splendid attempt by Rishabh Pant and is the highest score by any Indian player surpassing Murali Vijay’s 127 against for Chennai against Rajasthan in 2010. He has also created the history the IPL by scoring highest individual score in a losing cause.

In the last match against Sunrise Hyderabad, Rishabh is able to snatch 26 runs in just one over and that too with Bhuvneshwar kumar. Thus, Delhi’s hope to give a comeback is ended with the Eight loss in the 11 games

However, it was not enough for the team to win as the match as the opponents are far much prepared with the duo of captain Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan who made an unbeaten 176 runs partnership which is highest ever for Sunrisers in all T20s. This brings the Delhi daredevil to return within 18.5 overs.
