CBSE declares NEET results today, Confirms Anil Swarup

The Central Board of Secondary Education will declare the NEET Undergraduate exam today. The results were earlier expected to be announced on 5 June, but it will be announced today, a day earlier. The CBSE NEET-UG 2018 result will be available on the official CBSE website:

In response to the several queries asked about the time and day of the result declaration, Anil Swarup tweeted that CBSE will inform the NEET result by 2 pm today.

The NEET-UG 2018 exam was conducted on May 6 at 2255 examination centres. It is an entrance test on national level to grant admission to undergraduate medical and dental college. This year, around 13 lakh candidates appeared for NEET exam.

Among 13 lakh candidates, 5,80,648 were males while 7,46,076 were females including one transgender who have appeared for the offline NEET exam conducted by the CBSE. The answer key of the exam was released on May 25.

The process of counselling will proceed after the result declaration today and it will done separately for All India Quota seats and for state quota seats. Another notification for the counselling procedure will soon be out by the concerned authorities for the states.
