BMW Motorrad bike G 310 R, G 310 GS pre-booking to begin on June 8

The most awaited BMW Motorrad bike is ready to come on the road with its first pre-bookings which will start from June 8. BMW Motorrad announced that BMW 310 R and G 310 GS will be available for the pre-booking from June 8 onwards at the cost of Rs 50,000.

The pre-booking of BMW 310 R and G 310 GS can be done at any authorised BMW Motorrad dealership within the country and the delivery will be done according to the first come first serve policy as per the orders. Both the bikes will be sold and serviced in the dealer network of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Kolkata.

BMW president Vikram Pawah said, “BMW Motorrad has a legacy of designing motorcycles that bring together unparalleled riding pleasures, pure performance and assured quality in a unique combination. When BMW Motorrad announce its foray into the sub-500cc premium segment, it created a stir in the motorcycle industry”.

He further added, “With the much-awaited enter but redefine this segment in India. These two motorcycles are built for the Indian roads and offer a true BMW at competitive costs. The wait is finally over as we open up pre-bookings for our customers ahead of the launch. We are confident that like elsewhere in the world, the BMW G 310R and G 310 GS will create a successful chapter in the India story as well”.

BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are a joint venture of India’s TVS motor company and the German automaker who made the small-capacity motorcycles in Hosur, Tamil Nadu after it was launched at the Auto Expo this year in February.

Talking about the key features, BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS have beefy USD front forks, rear monoshock, front and rear disc brakes and wide tubeless tyres. BMW G 310 R would cost around Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh while BMW G 310 GS will be Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,00 more than the former one.
