BJP’s 38th Foundation Day; 28 trains and 50,000 private vehicles booked, 3 Lakhs party workers in mega rally

The supremo party of the country, BJP will be celebrating its 38th foundation Day in MMRDA ground at Bandra-kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The party’s president will address around 3 lakhs party workers at around 11.30 am and Prime Minster Narendra Modi will communicate through video Conferencing.

Amit Shah gave his thanks for the love received by the Mumbaikars as he arrived on Thursday evening and welcomed by the 25,000 Local BJP workers with 10,000 bikers and several car drivers.

 He tweeted, “Thank you Mumbai for your love and support. Looking forward to addressing a mega event to mark the 38Th foundation day of Bharatiya Janta Party in Mumbai”.

Party workers from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will participate in this mega event. However, 28 trains were booked from around the participating states including 50,000 private buses and vehicle for transportation.

The Mumbaikars have to face the traffic congestion today regarding which an advisory by the traffic police has been released to save people from the massive jams.

According to that, “Traffic congestion is likely to occur on approach roads to Western Express Highway and Eastern Express Highway towards BKC. Commuters are Advised to avoid Santa Cruz Chembur Link Road, Serve Junction on LBS Road, Sion Junction, Dharavi T Junction, Hansbhugra Marg, CST Road, Nehru Road till Ambedkar Junction and Sharadadevi Road as far as possible”.

The Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan also stuck in traffic after which he tweeted, “A 30 min. drive takes 5 hours! that’s the Phantom movie camera moving at 500 frames per second. Film city of JVPD scheme, juhu. Normal camera moves at 24 frames”.

The advisory is also for the students having exams to take the advance planing if they are going towards airports/railway stations.

Amit shah attended the meeting held yesterday at luxury hotel in Suburban Bandra attended by the Union minister Piyush Goyal, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Revenue Minister Chandrakant patil, Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar, former cabinet minister Ekanth Khadse.
