Mahesh Babu’s starrer ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ is continued to shine brightly with mountain collection of Rs 192.74 crore in 12 days of run and still counting over to break the record of Rs 200 crore thus becoming the second biggest hit in the Telugu cinema after recently released super-hit movie Rangasthalam.
In the first week of release, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ collected Rs 161.28 crore and after a strong second weekend supported by May Day, the movie has done a great job. Besides the national collection, Bharat Ane Nenu have also inched the mark of 3.5 million USD in the USA.
In Chennai alone, the movie has crossed Rs 1.75 crore and performing well in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also. Mahesh Babu is excited with the collection of the movie and thanked for the support.
He said, “We knew we had a terrific film on our hands as siva garu is a great stroryteller. But one never knows which way the winds blows. It’s always the audience which gives the final verdict, and it’s truly overwhelming and a big thank you to all who have unanimously loved our film. It’s a very proud moment for me”.
However, after a super-hit last weekend collection, Bharat Ane Nenu witnessed a steep decline in its collection on Monday, but it managed to increase in collection on Tuesday.
Bharat Ane Nenu is the story of a political drama in which the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh played by Mahesh Babu who took up the political career to fight for the rights of the people after his father’s death.
