Hong Kong won the toss and decided to bowl first under the shed of Anshuman Rath and first over was put up by Tanwir Afzal while on the Indian side, Captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan decided to bat first.
Within the fourth ball of the first over, Rohit Sharma hit the first boundary while Shikhar Dhawan gets his first boundary in the second over by Tanwir and making a series of fours, Rohit again give his second boundary in the fourth over too and led the team India to finishes up at 21 by zero wicket at the end of four overs.
At the seventh over, however, Team India managed to collect only two runs from the hands of Hong Kong bowler Aizaz Khan but the pace was halted at the seventh over when Team India lost his first big wicket of Rohit Sharma taken by Ehsan Khan.
Replacing Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu took the bat and Rohit Sharma handled the situation well by giving back to back two boundaries thus leading India to the score of 56 runs at the 10th over. Thus, it will be interesting to see whether Dhawan will be able to lead the team India to win the match and Rayudu will cop up with the expectations to support him.
