Aishwarya Rai on #MeToo movement, I spoke in past and will continue to speak

The #MeToo campaign is flooding like anything thus revealing the list of shocking incidents of Bollywood industry. The sexual harassment case registered against the eminent actors, directors and producers by the female celebs is sprouting up thus making everyone shocked.

The female actress including Priyanka Chopra, Twinkle Khanna, Swara Bhaskar and Sonam Kapoor who are the prime victims of the sexual harassment is coming up and giving their support to the voice raised.

In the list, another name is added up and this time it’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who stood up and said that she always spoke about the abusive behaviour in the past and will continue to speak in future.

She said “I have always spoken out. I spoke in the past, I am speaking now, and I will continue to speak”.

Aishwarya Rai further added that social media has given the voice to the women of today and they can come from anywhere from the world and speak openly.

Rai said, “social media has enabled the conversation and any woman who comes from any part of the world today has a voice that will be heard. When it comes to helping women find their voice, find the strength, feel confident about sharing their stories, it’s not about the current time. This has been going on since a lot of time and I am glad it has found a certain momentum today”.

Boldly speaking about her controversial break-up with Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai said “After we broke up, he (Salman) would call me and talk rubbish. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And, I would go to work as if nothing happened”.

Earlier, Actress Tanushree Dutt said that she was sexually harassed by the actor Nana Patekar while shooting for the 2008 movie Horn OK Pleasss and with much strange, Alok Nath has also by a 20-year old show Tara’s maker.
