Chhattisgarh is going for the second and final phase of assembly elections with the 1.5 crore eligible voters across the 19,000 polling booths. The voting will be started at 8 am and will end at 5 pm. Around 1 lakh security personnel will be deployed for the Chhattisgarh election.

The major players in the Chhattisgarh election are BJP led by Dharamlal Kaushik, Congress led by Bhupesh Baghel, Ajit Jogi-Mayawati led alliance and Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

The other ministers which are included in BJP party are Rajesh Munat and Brijmohan Agarwal and the party campaigning was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah targeting the opposition party Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his family for misleading people of Chhattisgarh in the last 50 years.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh is expecting the huge vote for his party in the Chhattisgarh election and fourth-time comeback in the state. He said, “We are expecting a pro-incumbency vote in the second phase also and people will come out in huge numbers this time also to vote for the BJP. We will definitely be coming back to power for the record fourth time in a row”.

However, the Congress party has done the continuous attack on the BJP party by raising issues like Rafale fighter jet deal, farmer’s issues while promising for the loan waiver scheme with the bonus on paddy procurement.

The results of the Chhattisgarh election will be announced on December 11 along with the future election in other four states election including Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Telangana and Rajasthan.
